How much does an exotic car rental cost in California?

It depends on the car and how long you keep it. Daily rates run from a few hundred dollars for a luxury SUV or sports car to a few thousand for a Rolls Royce or a top-end supercar. Every car's page shows its daily rate. The daily rate is the biggest piece of the price, but it isn't the only one. A few other things shape the total. How long you rent. The longer you keep the car, the lower the daily rate gets. See Rent For Longer above. Delivery. If you want the car brought to your home, your hotel or the airport, the delivery fee depends on where you are. Insurance. If your own full coverage policy covers the car, there's nothing to add. If you get insurance through us, that's an additional daily cost that varies by vehicle and driver. Miles. Every car comes with a daily mileage allowance. Extra miles are charged at the rate listed on that car's page. The deposit. It's held, not spent. It comes back after the car does, and the amount varies by vehicle and driver. Taxes are part of the total too. All of it is in your quote before anything is charged, so you see the full number before you commit. No surprises at the handoff and no fees you didn't agree to.

Do I need experience for an exotic car rental?

No. You don't need to have driven an exotic before. Plenty of our renters are getting behind the wheel of one for the first time, and a valid driver's license is the only driving credential you need. What helps is knowing what you're getting into. Exotic cars sit lower, run wider and pull harder than anything most people drive day to day, so a few things feel different on the first drive. You sit close to the ground. Speed bumps, steep driveways and parking garage ramps need a slower approach, and a lot of cars carry a nose lift for exactly that. Visibility out the back is limited on most mid-engine cars. The mirrors and the camera do the work. The throttle is sharp. The first few squeezes are best done gently until you know how the car answers. None of that takes long. Most renters feel at home within the first few miles, and by the end of the day they don't want to give it back. If it's your first time, tell us when you book and we'll point you toward a car that's easy to live with on day one. A luxury SUV or a grand tourer is a softer start than a track-focused supercar, and it still turns every head in the parking lot. You don't need a track day or a course. You need your license, your coverage and somewhere to go.

Where in California can I rent an exotic car?

Across Southern California. Our exotic car rentals are available in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Palm Springs and the Inland Empire, so you rent from the region you're in instead of waiting on a car from across the state. We're based in Irvine, in Orange County, and our network keeps cars in every region, from Malibu to the Coachella Valley. That's not a delivery zone drawn around one lot. It's a spread of cars that already sit where people want to drive them. Each region rents a little differently. Los Angeles is the busiest. Hotels, studios, red carpets and the canyon roads above the city. Orange County is home. The coast, the harbors and some of the best driving weather in the state. San Diego is the beach and the border, with the coast road north and the hills to the east. Palm Springs is the desert. Wide open roads, resort valets and the drive in from the city that makes the weekend. The Inland Empire covers the wine country, the foothills and the big stretch of freeway between the coast and the desert. Pick your region on this page to see the cities it covers and the cars closest to you. Planning to move between regions? A lot of renters start in one and finish in another. Tell us the route and we'll match the car to the trip.

Do you deliver exotic car rentals to LAX, John Wayne or San Diego Airport?

Yes. We deliver to the major Southern California airports, including LAX, John Wayne (SNA), San Diego (SAN), Long Beach (LGB), Ontario (ONT), Palm Springs (PSP) and Hollywood Burbank (BUR). The car can be ready when you land. Flying in is when delivery makes the most sense. You skip the shuttle, skip the rental counter line and skip the hour in traffic to a pickup lot. You walk out of arrivals and the trip starts there. Returns work the same way. You can hand the car back at the airport on the way out, or start at the airport and finish at your hotel. The return doesn't have to match the drop off. The delivery fee depends on the airport and the car, and it's included in your quote, so you see it before you book. Same requirements as any rental, and international renters can book select cars. See Requirements above. Whether it's a work trip into Burbank, a long weekend through Palm Springs or a wedding flight into San Diego, the car can be the first thing you see when you land.

What are the deposit and mileage terms on an exotic car rental?

Both vary by vehicle. Every car's page lists its security deposit, its daily mileage allowance and the rate for extra miles, so you know all three before you book. The deposit can also depend on the driver, including age and driving history. The deposit protects the car. It's held for the length of the rental and comes back after the car does, as long as the car comes back the way it left. Higher value cars carry bigger deposits, the same way they carry higher rates. How the deposit is paid is covered under Pay Your Way. The mileage allowance is the number of miles included per day of the rental. Go over it and the extra miles are charged at the per-mile rate on that car's page. Nothing is hidden in the fine print. Planning a road trip? Do the math before you book. Los Angeles to Palm Springs is a little over 100 miles each way, and the coast road from Orange County to San Diego adds up faster than people expect. Tell us the route and we'll help you pick a car with an allowance that fits. Monthly rentals can carry a different mileage allowance and deposit than a daily rental. Both are in your quote.

Can I rent a Lamborghini or Ferrari for a wedding, photoshoot or corporate event?

Yes. Weddings, photoshoots and corporate events are a big part of what we do, and the car can be delivered to the venue, the set or the office at a set time. Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Rolls Royce and Bentley are all popular choices. A wedding is the one day every photo gets looked at for decades. The car at the end of the aisle is in every one of them after the ceremony. A photoshoot lives or dies on the frame. Music videos, brand campaigns, real estate listings and social content all get shared because of what's parked in the shot. A corporate event is about the arrival. The car at the curb when the client walks out of arrivals says more than the pitch deck. It doesn't have to be a big production either. People rent for a birthday, an anniversary, a date night, a prom, a bachelor party or a road trip up the coast. Some of the best rentals are the ones nobody saw coming. Need more than one car? Book two or three for a convoy, a bridal party or a shoot that needs options in the frame. For a wedding or a formal event, chauffeur service is available on request on Rolls Royce, Cadillac and Range Rover rentals, so the couple or the client never has to think about the drive. Tell us the date, the place and the look you're going for, and we'll match the car to the moment.

Why rent an exotic car instead of a luxury car from Enterprise or Hertz?

Because the car is the point. A luxury car from a big rental counter gets you there comfortably. An exotic car is the reason you went. And at the big counters, the exotic and prestige collections usually require you to be 25 or older. Our exotic car rental age minimum is 18. You need a valid license, full coverage that applies to the car and a deposit. That's the list. The selection is different too. A rental counter's top shelf is a short list. Ours starts where theirs ends, with Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Porsche and more across Southern California. Payment, pickup, delivery and insurance all work the way the Requirements section above lays out, with more options than a counter gives you. Is it more expensive than a sedan? Yes. You're not paying to get from one place to another. You're paying for the drive up the coast with the top down, the valet line at the hotel, the photo everyone asks about and the weekend that actually feels like one. If all you need is transportation, rent the sedan. If you want the day to feel different, rent the car.

Can I book an exotic car with a chauffeur?

Yes. Chauffeur service is available on request on Rolls Royce, Cadillac and Range Rover rentals, through licensed chauffeur partners. You take the back seat, someone else takes the road, and the arrival looks exactly the same. Some trips aren't about driving. They're about arriving. A Rolls Royce pulling up with a driver at the wheel is the purest version of that. The door opens, you step out, and nobody in the valet line is looking at anything else. It fits the nights when you'd rather not drive at all. A wedding exit where the couple rides off without a second thought. An anniversary dinner where both of you get to enjoy the wine. A night out in Los Angeles where nobody has to be the designated driver. It fits work too. A client picked up from arrivals in the back of a Rolls Royce or a Cadillac. A team moved between meetings without anyone hunting for parking. A first impression that lands before anyone says a word. The cars are the same ones on the site. The difference is who's behind the wheel and where you get to sit. Ask for it on any Rolls Royce, Cadillac or Range Rover rental.
